This remote-centered position offers flexible work schedule opportunities. The Independent Office of Audits and Investigations is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Senior Management Auditor. Under the supervision of the Supervising Management Auditor, the incumbent plans, organizes, and directs staff responsible for performing operational and performance audits of the California Department of Transportation and external entities that receive transportation funding. In addition, the incumbent is required to provide leadership, project management, guidance, coaching, supervision, and training of staff. Incumbent must be willing to travel. Position located at 1304 O St., Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95814, Sacramento County. Employee will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial lighting and must be able to travel to meetings. This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans’s evolving telework policy. Caltrans supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required. Minimum Requirements
