About The Role Peraton is seeking a Software Validation Analyst to support DHA Lifecycle Management.
Responsibilities
Assist the government in ensuring that requirements requested are approved from the DHA Enterprise Approved Product List.
Generate reports, monitor ITSM ticket queue performance, monitor calendar events, and provide critical updates to Government leadership when appropriate.
Process software related tickets, review/validate RVDC, follow up with customers as necessary.
Update action statuses via the Procurement Action Tracker, ServiceNow and other databases/tools as necessary.
Coordinate with program and project managers from various Directorates within the Defense Health Agency to ensure that software being requested have not reached their end of life/end of support dates.
Coordinate with program and project managers to ensure software is still a valid requirement ensuring that the agency does not pay for maintenance on items no longer needed.
Review Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) and compare them to quotes received by vendors. Provide recommendations to the government on if the EBOM and the quote are technically acceptable.
Assist in identifying End of Life (EOL)/ End of Support (EOS) information for hardware components such as LAN, WAN, WLAN, TLA, EUD and various components.
Update the Asset Management Database with EOL/EOS information.
Conduct market research to determine cost estimates for replacement devices based on the request of the customer.
Other administrative tasks as assigned for Lifecycle Management.
Skills
Strong communication skills, professional writing skills, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills including MS Excel Pivot Tables, Power Query, and MS Word.
Ability to multitask and perform administrative tasks in support of Lifecycle Management.
Attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, data analysis, time management, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
2 years of experience with BA/BS OR 0 years of experience with MA/MS OR 6 years of experience in lieu of degree with HS diploma.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust).
Work location: San Antonio onsite required.
Familiar with the MS Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ticketing systems and strong administrative, tracking and documentation skills.
Familiar with the following software applications including but not limited to: the MS Office suite, MS Access, ServiceNow or other ticketing systems (i.e. BMC Remedy or similar).
Salary Range Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
