Under direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) is a member of a collaborative work group of individuals with varied functional and systems expertise. Responsibilities include review, business analysis, documentation, user acceptance testing, implementation oversight, system changes, defects, strategic initiatives, and tracking of business and technical components. The incumbent ensures the scope and direction of each change request or initiative aligns with statewide business requirements and participates in the implementation of solutions and deliverables that meet DCSS business needs as a member of the Cross Functional Team (CFT), Enterprise Architecture & Security Branch, within the Technology Services Division (TSD).

Special Requirements

The position requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire.
