The Health Program Specialist I serves as an independent, highly skilled subject matter expert and technical consultant in behavioral health and state policy. This position provides consultation, technical assistance, and coordination in the planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive healthcare workforce policies. The incumbent collaborates with governmental agencies, public and private educational institutions, and employers throughout California.
