Position Overview:
Engineering degree holder (Mech/Aero/Electrical), 4–5 years of aviation or certification experience, comfortable with compliance documentation, familiar with Part 25/121 regulations, skilled in MS Office/SharePoint, and open to repetitive and detail-oriented tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
No design work. Focus is on compliance and certification documentation.
Support senior engineers in preparing technical audits.
Build packages demonstrating compliance with FAA regulations (CFR Parts 21, 23, 25, 121).
Limited on-aircraft involvement (paperwork only, not physical modifications).
Occasional on-site support for STC prototyping.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree
mandatory
(mechanical, aerospace, or electrical preferred).
Other degrees considered
only
if paired with strong aerospace experience.
Aircraft interior certification experience
highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with certification terms:
TSO (Technical Standard Order), STC (Supplemental Type Certificate), TC (Type Certificate) .
4–5 years of relevant experience (aviation industry preferred).
EV experience a plus; commercial airline experience not required.
Strong self-starter; willing to handle a variety of tasks, including repetitive and less technical work.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Word and Excel .
SharePoint
knowledge preferred; must be open to cloud-based tools.
Location:
Primarily DFW airport, hangar office environment.
Standard schedule:
Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30
(flexible, e.g., 7:00–3:30 to avoid traffic).
Mostly office-based; occasional travel to other facilities for modifications.
