$60.00/hr - $80.00/hr
The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring construction activities meet defined quality standards and specifications. This includes conducting regular inspections and audits, verifying the qualifications of site personnel, and maintaining accurate documentation of all quality control activities. The role involves identifying and managing non-conformance issues, coordinating with commissioning teams for proper documentation and transition planning, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The inspector provides training and guidance to site teams, fosters a culture of quality awareness, and collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related concerns. They ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, assist with internal audits, and prepare work for customer inspections while coordinating all quality matters with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the construction industry.
Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry, with minimum 2 years in construction related to the power industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards (e.g., ACI; AISC, AWS, ASTM, ISO, etc.).
Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
Certification in Quality Control is a plus
ICCE certification
