Temporary Holiday Support - New York City
Join Christian Dior Couture as a Temporary Holiday Support specialist in our New York City boutique. This full‑time role supports client service functions during the busy holiday season.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Operate registers efficiently, maintaining accurate cash and media balances.
Use proper telephone etiquette for answering calls, taking messages, and transferring inquiries.
Assist with packing and wrapping merchandise for customers.
Manage customer exchanges, returns, and all opening/closing procedures, ensuring security of cash and receipts.
Maintain register area appearance, keep supplies stocked, and support floor moves, merchandising, and housekeeping.
Participate in inventory counts and general boutique operational tasks.
Qualifications
Experience in retail cashiering and luxury operations preferred.
Willingness to work a full‑time schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and variable hours.
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with excellent follow‑through.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise and fixtures, including lifting.
Commitment to company policies, procedures, regulations and standards.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate $20‑$23, plus potential eligibility for medical benefits, commuter benefits and 401(k) with employer contributions.
