Accounts Payable Specialist

Managing Director - Vaco Accounting and Finance Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This role is responsible for full-cycle AP processing and requires strong technical and analytical skills, particularly in Excel. The workload varies seasonally in line with the company's production cycles ranging from 500-600 invoices per week during peak season to approximately 100 per week during off‑season.

Base pay range $22.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors

Support month‑end close and reporting activities

Maintain organized records and assist with audits as needed

Utilize a cloud-based ERP system and advanced Excel functionality

Requirements

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs required)

Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail

Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred

Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

Cloud-based ERP experience required

Compensation

Salary Range: $55K (conversion target)
