Job Summary and Responsibilities Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including supervision of OR Technicians.

Minimum Qualifications
Current California Registered Nurse license.
Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Current approved health care provider CPR certification - BLS within 30 days of employment.
Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 30 days of employment.
PALS certification within 30 days of employment.
Nursing Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of Patient Care Satisfied CBO/Annual, Competency.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years OR nursing acute care facility.
Board Certification OR, CNOR.
BSN.
