As a Public Sector Account Executive, you’ll champion the adoption of process automation across the DACH public sector – bringing innovation, transparency, and efficiency to government agencies. Build and expand relationships with public‑sector decision‑makers, acting as a trusted partner on their digital transformation journey. Own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—to drive the adoption of Camunda’s best‑in‑class automation solutions. Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans, leveraging your expertise and network to identify opportunities and deliver results. Collaborate across technical, product, and customer success teams to ensure value realisation and customer satisfaction. Navigate complex negotiations and public procurement processes with resilience and professionalism. Represent Camunda at industry events, advocating for Camunda’s portfolio with compelling communication and presentations. What you bring
Ability and/or willingness to use our product. Strong track record in enterprise software sales, driving six‑digit ARR projects. Demonstrable experience with Public Sector evaluation and procurement methods. Well‑established network within Germany’s public sector. Highly self‑motivated with a “Manager of One” mindset—equally comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Expert customer focus, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Proven drive for results and resilience in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English. Nice to have
Background in automation technology, workflow software, or process orchestration. Experience with open source business models and communities. Startup or scale‑up context. Compensation
We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location‑based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition. The annual total target cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on

location , and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth: United States: $244,600 to $403,600 Germany: €158,000 to €261,400 United Kingdom: £153,600 to £252,600 Singapore: S$303,800 to S$455,700 If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com (our global employer partner), and your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview.
