This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Global Technical Center - Champion Service Operations office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

As a Mega Public Analyst – Public Sector, you will oversee dealer contractual processes with a strong emphasis on compliance, coordination, and data accuracy. This role plays a critical part in supporting dealer operational changes in accordance with state franchise statutes and GM’s Dealer Sales and Service Agreement (DSSA). You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure all documentation, approvals, and updates are completed with precision and within required timelines.

Beyond contractual management, you will leverage data‑driven insights to inform internal planning and decision‑making. In partnership with the DP2 team and field staff, you will help execute strategic initiatives that strengthen GM’s dealer network.

You will be part of a mission‑critical team driving the evolution of GM’s dealer network during a period of rapid transformation in the automotive industry. Your contributions will enhance operational efficiency, reinforce compliance and process integrity, and support strategic dealer initiatives—ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, detail‑oriented, and analytically focused environment.

What You'll Do: (Responsibilities)

Independently prepare Dealer contracts, Program Enrollment Forms, and template/ad‑hoc letters; complete Dealer activations and maintain updates within internal systems and logs.

Analyze and process contractual changes within timeframe and consistent with state franchise statutes, the Dealer Sales and Service Agreement (DSSA), and complete Area of Primary Responsibility (APR) notice requirements in accordance with state and internal policies.

Secure required documentation and approvals by collaborating with key stakeholders including Dealers, GM Legal, Market Analysis, Regional Directors, Zone Managers, and the DP2 team.

Advise and provide support and solutions to key stakeholders regarding proposals, network planning activities, and system‑related requests, Dealer Contractual Group (DCG) policies, procedures, and compliance expectations.

Partner cross‑functionally with DP2 team and field staff to align contractual actions with strategic dealer network goals.

Conduct financial analysis and evaluate candidate sales and profit forecasts, providing/delivering insights from composite groups to internal teams and dealers.

Review and maintain DCG SharePoint files annually for ILM compliance, and support documentation requests for audits or legal processes.

Provide additional departmental support assisting the DP2 process through documentation coordination, progress tracking, and ensuring alignment with compliance and dealer network initiatives and other special projects.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

5–7+ years of experience in dealership/automotive operations, OEM environment, or a related discipline.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced operations environment.

Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, collaborate effectively across teams, and drive performance and problem‑solving outcomes.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to confidently develop and deliver messages to diverse audiences.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and data visualization tools such as Power BI.

Demonstrated customer focus and a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Ability to lead with confidence without authority, multi‑stakeholder proposals, delivering insights to leadership, and influencing decisions through strategic analysis.

Self‑starter with the ability to move with urgency, independently, and be comfortable with high visibility and ambiguity as well as shifting priorities.

Ability to foster and maintain and build relationship and be able to innovate and speak fearlessly.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with state franchise law, dealership operations, or manufacturer‑dealer agreements.

Experience assisting with outcomes through metrics, KPIs, and data visualization.

Experience in legal and governmental areas.
