Description
Full-time 7 pm – 7 am shift schedule
Reporting to the Director of 4 South Cardiac Intermediate Unit
Most acute cardiac patients outside of ICU
Responsibilities
Plans and manages care of routine patients
Educates patients and family
Planning continuum of care
Required Qualifications
Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements
3 years of Acute Care experience in Med/Surge and some specialty experience (Cardiac, Stepdown IMC or Oncology). Specialty Certification Required
Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree BSN required, MSN preferred
1 year of leadership experience in an acute care setting preferred
Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $39.04 - $58.56 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
