What You’ll Do
Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, commercial leases, and other deal documents
Work on acquisitions/dispositions, finance, REIT, construction, and development matters
Manage due diligence and closing processes
Key Qualifications
3+ years of commercial real estate experience in a sophisticated law firm; AmLaw experience preferred
Meaningful exposure to acquisitions/dispositions, finance, and ideally some construction
Admission to the Illinois bar or eligibility to waive in
1600 minimum billable hours requirement
Base compensation of $175K - 250K, plus bonus eligibility determined by firm and individual performance
Flexible hybrid schedule — 3 days in office
Professional liability insurance, health, dental, and vision insurance, participation in 401k and profit-sharing plans, reimbursement for mobile phone and CLE, and bar association membership
