Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join a school district in
Oak Park, IL
for the school year.
Position Overview
Job Type: Full-time, contract
Dates: ASAP – End of school year
Caseload: Self‑contained Elementary program
Hourly Pay Range: $35 – $55+ per hour (negotiable based on experience and district budget)
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
Illinois SLP License
PEL certification
ASHA CCCs preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
