Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join a school district in New Orleans, LA for the school year.
Position Overview
ASAP Start – End of school year
Full‑time hours
Caseload: K‑12 (specific details provided during interview)
Hourly Pay: $35 – $55+ per hour (negotiable based on experience and district budget)
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
Louisiana SLP License (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
