Join Multiquip as a Field Service Manager and Power Up Your Career! Are you a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for customer service and technical excellence? Multiquip is looking for a dynamic Field Service Manager to lead and support our field service operations across a designated territory. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to expert for technical support, training coordination, and equipment repairs—both warranty and non‑warranty—delivered with precision and care. You’ll work directly with customers, dealers, and service teams to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems in the field. From coordinating parts to completing service work efficiently, you’ll play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and supporting our profitability goals. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to grow revenue by promoting parts sales, MQ filter kits, and service solutions both on‑site and through our service centers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee daily field service operations, including repairs, training, and technical support. Provide expert troubleshooting and hands‑on repair assistance to customers. Diagnose issues, prepare estimates, and ensure timely job completion. Act as the key liaison between customers and Multiquip for technical concerns. Keep accurate records of service activities and customer interactions in CRM systems. Build strong relationships with Authorized Service Centers in your territory. Conduct warranty inspections and authorize claims as needed. Submit detailed service reports and technical feedback. Support creation of service bulletins, manuals, and training materials. Deliver technical training and guidance to internal teams and customers. Perform field repairs to support service goals and drive revenue growth. Sales and Service Growth Responsibilities

Actively promote Multiquip’s sales and service initiatives to increase departmental and company revenue. Identify and encourage opportunities for direct parts sales through Multiquip. Recommend and support use of MQ filter kits. Promote MQ service and preventive maintenance programs—both in the field and at MQ factory service centers. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

Associate degree or 5+ years of hands‑on experience in power generation. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are welcome. 5+ years as a Power Generation Technician, with advanced skills in electrical and diesel engine repair (Tier 4 engines preferred). Strong knowledge of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Able to interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents. Skilled at troubleshooting and adapting to non‑standard situations using written, verbal, or visual instructions. Clear and professional communicator with the ability to understand and explain technical materials and respond effectively to customers and team members. Qualifications

Team player with a positive, professional attitude. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, especially with diesel generators. Skilled in troubleshooting complex systems and interpreting technical documents. Willing to travel for field repairs and customer support. Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving abilities. Clear communicator, able to explain technical info to various audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and web‑based service tools. Must be able to operate standard tools and equipment for repairs. Skills & Technical Competencies

Electrical & Maintenance Expertise: Skilled in reading schematics, performing complex electrical repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance on various equipment. Advanced Troubleshooting: Proficient in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software. Power Generation & Controls: Experienced with generator controllers, voltage systems, AVRs, and PLCs; adept at software updates and system optimization. Engine Systems: Strong diesel engine diagnostics and repair capabilities, including overhauls and after‑treatment servicing. Communication & Reporting: Clear communicator with customers and capable of producing detailed technical service documentation. Efficiency & Time Management: Proven ability to complete advanced technician‑level tasks accurately and productively. Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create reports, presentations, and professional communications. Experienced in using diagnostic and service software to troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment effectively. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must hold a valid driver’s license and passport. Completion of technical training courses, certification programs, or graduation from a technical school is preferred. Electrical safety certification or qualifications are considered a strong plus. Travel Requirements

Ability to travel within the United States and internationally. Travel requirements can exceed 80%. Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The role frequently requires standing, walking, climbing, and sitting for extended periods. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to handle, feel, or manipulate objects; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Compensation & Benefits
