Information Technology Support Specialist

Looking for IT Support Specialists with 2+ years of experience.
Contract To Hire roles – must be a USA citizen.
Onsite roles in Bakersfield, CA – local candidates only!
Pay rate range: $30/hr on W2.
Hours: Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (30‑minute lunch) – Irving, TX location.

Required Experience
Level 1 or Level 2 help desk experience
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking and workstation experience
Sysaid ticketing system
ITIL
Daily Responsibilities
Provides support of all PC, network, and server hardware and software applications, including but not limited to MS Outlook, MS Office, Virtual Desktop, VPN, Active Directory, MDT Imaging for PCs, Cisco network hardware, facility cabling, RF equipment, and administration of Sysaid or other IT ticketing systems.
Detailed understanding of Windows installation and configuration items.
Experience with ServiceNow/Sysaid and incident, problem, and change management processes and procedures.
Knowledge of modern OS deployment methodologies.
Fundamental understanding of network concepts (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and proxies).
History of managing and configuring desktop security tools and settings.
Understanding of driver and firmware management techniques.
Generalized understanding of Citrix, Azure AD, and Microsoft cloud offerings.
Background in the use, management, and administration of virtualization products (Hyper‑V, RemoteApp, Citrix, WVD).
Provides setup, deployment, and support of mobile devices.
Monitors on‑site IS systems, including backups, UPS, and server/network equipment.
Provides remote support for facilities and associates.
Maintains, supports, and configures warehouse devices (printers, RF units, terminals, etc.).
Engages with external vendors for support and services.
