Trueline is seeking a
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Project Engineer
to join their team in New Haven, CT. In this role, you\'ll play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless integration of MEP systems with architectural and civil designs, overseeing installations from review through commissioning.
Responsibilities
Review and interpret architectural, civil, and MEP drawings to develop coordinated installation plans
Collaborate with design teams to adapt MEP solutions based on evolving site conditions
Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and change order evaluations
Supervise on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance of MEP systems
Perform site inspections to maintain safety and compliance with local codes and standards
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction phases
Prepare and present progress updates, technical documentation, and final project reports
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
At least 5 years of MEP project engineering experience on construction sites
Strong ability to interpret multidisciplinary design drawings and specifications
Solid project management skills, including software proficiency
Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
Nice to Haves
Experience working closely with architectural and civil engineering teams
Familiarity with local New Haven building codes and commissioning processes
PMP or relevant professional certification
