MEP Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing Project (Contractor)

W2 or 1099
Hourly pay rate:
$85-110p/hr
About the Project:
Join a ground-breaking semiconductor manufacturing initiative with one of the largest cleanroom facilities currently under construction in the U.S. This project involves advanced mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, high-voltage power infrastructure, and cutting-edge manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
Design, review, and oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Collaborate with civil, structural, and process engineers to integrate MEP systems into the overall facility.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency standards.
Support high-voltage power infrastructure installation and facility utility systems.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical assessments for MEP systems.
Participate in construction inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing/MEP Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale industrial, semiconductor, or high-tech facility projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Experience with cleanroom design or semiconductor fabrication facilities is highly desirable.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering software.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
