Desktop Support Technician – 4‑month Contract
Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a 4‑month contract in Niskayuna, NY 12309. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis now and in the future.
Contract Duration 4 months
Responsibilities
Manage the customer’s on‑site assets, including imaging, deploying, maintaining, repairing, and wiping computer systems.
Provide software support, mobile device management, and support for computer peripherals.
Confidently lift up to 50 lbs and navigate between buildings and the production floor to support users.
Provide hand‑and‑feet support for network troubleshooting when needed.
Represent the company professionally and communicate effectively with customers and associates.
Interact with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of related desktop and/or deskside support experience.
Solid understanding of IT services and products – including software, hardware, and network troubleshooting, PC imaging and deployment, and IMAC experience.
Ability to deliver great customer experiences and be invigorated by constant personal interaction.
Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous tasks, client relationships, and expectations.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
