Job Description:

Pay Range: $47hr - $52hr Responsibilities

Serve as a technical point of contact for customer escalations and infrastructure planning. Engage with application, database, virtualization, and cloud teams to gather requirements and align infrastructure solutions. Participate in customer meetings to understand pain points and translate them into technical improvements. Provide clear, proactive communication on issue status, root cause analysis, and preventive recommendations. Collaborate with vendors for projects and escalated support. Act as an escalation point for complex storage and backup incidents. Perform performance tuning, capacity forecasting, and root cause analysis. Create and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and configuration guides. Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management. Perform regular health checks and reporting for storage and backup systems. Must Have / Requirement

8+ years in NetBackup with Dell Data Domain administration. 5+ years hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerStore and Powermax. 4+ years with NetApp ONTAP, SnapMirror, and CIFS/NFS architecture. 2+ years in Rubrik CDM – VM/NAS backups, SLA domains, replication, and archival. Hands-on experience with Commvault backup systems. Strong Brocade SAN fabric knowledge – zoning, monitoring, and CLI troubleshooting. Responsibilities (duplicated)

Storage: Configure, provision, and manage storage across Dell PowerStore, Powermax, and NetApp FAS/AFF/FSXn platforms. Implement and manage LUNs, volumes, exports, and replication (SnapMirror, SnapVault). Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of storage issues, including I/O latency, disk failure, and zoning errors. Manage Brocade SAN switches, including zoning, port troubleshooting, ISL setup, and firmware upgrades. Plan and execute storage migrations, firmware upgrades, and disaster recovery rehearsals. Manage NetApp features such as FlexVol, FlexGroup, SnapMirror, and CIFS/NFS share configurations. Backup: Administer Commvault and Veritas NetBackup, including Master/Media server, policies, catalog management, MSDP, and AIR. Configure and manage Rubrik CDM, including SLA Domains and cloud archival. Troubleshoot failed backups/restores and ensure compliance with RTO/RPO and DR tests. Automate and optimize backup tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python). Integrate backup systems with virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, AWS). Qualification And Education

Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in storage and backup administration.
