Overview
This position is responsible for the performance of a variety of laboratory tests in an accurate and timely manner. Professional judgment is exercised to ascertain the appropriateness of the test orders, the validity of test results and to communicate this information to the physician.

Responsibilities
Performs highly complex laboratory procedures in a variety of laboratory sections with minimum supervision
Performs continuous quality assurance activities
Maintains general operations of the laboratory
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience; may include MLS clinical rotations as 1 year of experience; preferred clinical laboratory experience
MT(ASCP) eligible; Preferred
MT(AMT) eligible; Preferred
MLS (ASCP/ASCPi) eligible; Preferred
MT (AAB) eligible; Preferred
Certification in a Lab Specialty; Preferred

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.15/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work
This position is not eligible to work remotely and must be worked onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations.
