Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Midland, TX for an Automation Technician. The Automation Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks such as conducting preventive maintenance, handling electrical components, and working on automation equipment. The Automation Technician will ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely, meeting the operational needs of the company.
Qualifications
Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues
Knowledge of Electricity for handling electrical components and systems
Preventive Maintenance skills for routine inspection and maintenance to prevent equipment failure
Automation skills for working with automated systems and machinery
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Experience in the oil and gas industry is beneficial
Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred
