Supplier Quality Engineer | Hybrid | Bridgeton, MO
Join a team driving innovation and excellence in supplier quality! Our client is launching a major five-year initiative and seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement efforts across a dynamic supply chain. What You’ll Do
Act as the primary liaison between suppliers, supply chain, operations, and engineering to resolve quality issues. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier non-conformances. Conduct supplier assessments and support qualification of new and existing suppliers. Drive APQP and PPAP processes using tools like PFMEA, control plans, SPC, and Gage R&R. Monitor and improve supplier performance using scorecards and KPIs (PPM, on-time delivery, 8D, etc.). Support cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Represent Hussmann professionally with external partners and stakeholders. Collaborate on new product development to ensure supplier quality requirements are met. What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or supplier quality. Experience across multiple functional areas (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.) preferred. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, APQP, and PPAP. Ability to travel 25–50% of the time.
