Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of revenue accounting, including contract review, billing, and revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and FP&A teams to evaluate complex contracts and identify revenue implications.
Develop and maintain internal controls and policies related to revenue accounting.
Manage deferred revenue schedules and reconciliations.
Prepare audit schedules and support external audits and SOX compliance.
Analyze revenue trends and provide insights to senior leadership.
Supervise and mentor revenue accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Support system implementations and enhancements related to revenue processes (e.g., ERP, CRM).
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
5+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a SaaS or subscription‑based business.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage) and revenue automation tools.
Salary range: $74,206 – $105,000
