Base Pay Range $112,000.00/yr – $115,000.00/yr
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range – $112-115K (based on skills and experience) + Bonus + Benefits
Full-time direct hire. All compensation and benefits, including medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks, will be provided by the client per internal policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities
Supervise monthly close activities. Prepare or oversee income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting statements and reports.
Organize and schedule all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.
Review and analyze contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with internal policies.
Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
Analyze and reconcile financial information and general ledger accounts and other reports.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial meetings for discussion and review of financial data/reports.
Prepare and analyze forecasts and projections.
Assist with the maintenance and application of internal controls (SOX).
Train, conduct evaluations, and manage productivity of employees.
Ensure appropriate approvals for expenses for the business.
Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
Direct supervision of 2 full-time employees including Accountants.
Qualifications Must-haves:
Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Accounting, Business Administration
5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement)
Public accounting experience
General accounting, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable knowledge
