Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology - Parkview at UCHealth in Pueblo, Colorado. This is a full-time, outpatient clinic position with no call, no nights, and no weekends. Dedicated APP provider working directly with one of our GI physicians Collaborate in a busy outpatient GI clinic with patient-centered care Utilize EPIC EMR system across the practice Support clinic operations and patient flow to maintain high-quality care Qualifications
Physician Assistant
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado PA-C certification (NCCPA) required for hire and maintained throughout employment Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare/Medicaid No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff process Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Nurse Practitioner
Master’s degree in Nursing and graduation from an accredited NP program ANCC or AANPCB NP certification for hire and maintained throughout employment Unrestricted NP license in the practicing state or compact privileges Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications Eligible for reimbursable services and Medicare/Medicaid provider status No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Exceptional Benefits
