We are seeking a

Mid‑Level Quality Engineer Fabrication

in the Boeing Philadelphia Composites Center of Excellence (BDS Fabrication Division) located in

Ridley Park, PA . This position will fabricate complex composite parts, metal bond parts, and rotor blades to support various BDS, BGS, and BCA programs and perform overhaul of rotor blades.

Location & Schedule This position is 100% onsite at the listed location and works for the 1st shift. Travel may be required up to 10%.

Position Responsibilities

Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.

Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.

Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.

Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.

Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.

Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.

Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study

3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment

3+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing

3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods

Preferred Qualifications

1+ year of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints; 3+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation

Experience leading multiple projects

Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation

Compensation Summary pay range: USD $94,350 - $127,650
