We’re seeking a Full‑Time Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting overall operational efficiency. As part of our firm, you’ll manage the day‑to‑day financial operations of multiple clients across various industries, ensuring their books, reporting, and compliance needs are met with excellence and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Perform full‑cycle accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closings, and financial reporting.
Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities for multiple clients, including bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll processing.
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including expense tracking, vendor management, and invoicing.
Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax filings and payroll liability filings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Maintain organized financial records and support internal and external audits.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve financial workflows and reporting accuracy.
Assist with delegating and overseeing team assignments to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership and clients based on financial data analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated bookkeeping and full‑cycle accounting proficiency.
Proven experience managing the accounting for multiple clients or business entities.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Experience with sales tax filings and payroll liability reporting.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis tools.
High integrity, strong ethical standards, and professionalism in handling client finances.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
