Position Summary Washing Systems, LLC (WSI), now part of the Kao family of companies, is the largest supplier of commercial laundry detergents in North America. We provide high quality commercial laundry and chemical products to both uniform and linen rental companies. The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) works remotely and on client sites within the assigned territory, providing technical solutions for plant operations, identifying and executing sales opportunities through data analysis, and developing long‑term working relationships with all levels of management in the customer base. The TSR represents the organization’s service excellence and helps drive business growth.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks
Promoting and selling the full product line to existing customers.
Developing a key sales prospect list, establishing relationships, and selling to new customers.
Maintaining appropriate sales coverage within the territory.
Delivering and maintaining service, maintenance, and communications for 6–10 accounts.
Installing and programming WSI chemical dosing equipment to interface with customer washing equipment.
Planning and executing new installations and/or conversions.
Maintaining company equipment in proper working condition.
Operating within the assigned expense budget.
Collecting past‑due accounts receivable where applicable.
Eliminating rush orders of products.
Submitting all reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical, or related field and 1–2 years industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Military background is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and mechanical skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and order‑processing software.
Ability to act quickly, accurately and handle a fast‑paced work environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, talking, or hearing.
Work Environment
At least 50% travel to and from customers/plants.
Environment includes wet or humid conditions, extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles and chemicals.
Noise level usually moderate but can be loud in production areas.
