Overview The Director of Strategic Accounts will lead access efforts in the Central region (MI, OH, VA, WV, MD, DE, IN, KY), driving formulary inclusion, reimbursement, and partnership development with IDNs and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for target IDN accounts.

Develop and maintain in‑depth business plans supporting project management and Matrix team activities.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (GPO, sales, commercial development, medical affairs) to secure formulary and reimbursement approvals.

Lead educational efforts on DRG & system reimbursement, NTAP, and outlier payments.

Project‑manage Systems Cross Matrix Team and deliver quarterly business updates.

Build C‑suite and pharmacy leadership partnerships through KOL development.

Provide coding and payment information to ensure accounts understand reimbursement pathways.

Coordinate strategies for local, state, and national IDN congresses.

Act as the voice of IDNs in market research, marketing planning, and internal strategy discussions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in sciences or business; MBA preferred.

Minimum 7 years of National/Regional IDN hospital access experience.

Minimum 10 years of acute‑care hospital experience.

Experience working with and contracting for IDNs.

Track record of securing and maintaining P&T formulary approvals for branded acute‑care products.

Deep understanding of specialty/acute space, P&T, formu­lary process, and DRG reimbursement.

Experience launching multiple acute‑care products in IDNs and hospitals.

Strong project‑management leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

Ability to educate C‑suite on patient and reimbursement journeys.

Strong communication, financial acumen, and analytical skills.

65% national & local travel required.
