CardVault by Tom Brady is seeking a passionate and dynamic Store Manager for our new location!
Responsibilities
Directing all store operations
Researching, identifying and authenticating collectible trading cards by assessing the condition and quality of the item using established standards
Coaching and motivating the team to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered and collaborating with coworkers to provide excellent sales service
Delivering sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational outcomes
Acting as a partner between customers, sales associates and CardVault leadership
Learning and sharing expertise of products and trends to fit customer needs
Maintaining awareness of product knowledge and current or upcoming trends
Maintaining patron satisfaction and building relationships with preferred patrons
Accomplishing human resources objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management and hourly staff; clearly communicating job expectations; enforcing policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Delegating authority, assigning responsibilities and effectively managing subordinates
Establishing standards for personnel administration and performance
Addressing patrons’ complaints and resolving problems
Maintaining all necessary licenses and permits
General cash handling, reconciling cash drawers and safes, and performing opening and closing duties to company standard
Ensuring the security of all merchandise and minimizing shrinkage
Coordinating with the CardVault Director of Inventory and Logistics regarding inventory management
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
A comprehensive knowledge of sports and/or trading cards
Minimum of two years store manager experience in a similar environment
High school Diploma/GED; college degree preferred
Ability to lead and be part of a successful store team
Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills with guests, team members and management
Ability to meet or exceed sales and guest service standards
Comfortable working and speaking with the public
Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stock room; ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
Understanding of retail metrics and KPIs necessary to drive sales
