Hybrid Work We see the office as a place to come together and do extraordinary things. Everyone local to our Minneapolis and Philadelphia offices is expected to work from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.
Responsibilities Due to new business growth, we are seeking two Senior Broadcast Media Buyers. The Senior Broadcast Media Buyer negotiates and implements broadcast buys, enters information into tracking system, maintains contracts, and performs post‑analysis. This will also include internal collaboration, presentation to clients, and maintaining positive industry relationships. Senior Broadcast Buyer will support Broadcast Manager on platform level initiatives and media negotiations. This role is responsible for keeping teams/department abreast of developments in the broadcast industry.
Local broadcast negotiations
Understands principles of local radio and television negotiations
Experience developing market expertise in large and small DMAs
Cultivates relationships with vendors and other outside entities
Understands client objectives, resources, and pros/cons of approaches to address them
Works closely with media strategy team on broadcast planning rates
Fulfills role on team seamlessly, working with accuracy and urgency
Demonstrates initiative to understand, master, and implement innovative ideas
Cross‑Platform Stewardship
Maintains buying activity on Media Ocean OX
Evaluates and accepts make‑goods
Reconciles monthly invoices
Team player
Maintains a professional, can‑do attitude at all times
Demonstrates initiative and ability to take direction
Maintains effective communication, responding quickly and accurately
Required Skills
Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a closely‑related field.
3‑4 years minimum in media department, current title Buyer or greater.
Experience with broadcast media buying (national and local).
Experience managing multiple clients, working with multiple departmental teams.
Experience with other (Digital) video formats FEP, OTT, VOD, etc. preferred.
Experience with brand, DRTV, and other buying forms a plus.
Proven passion, drive and active knowledge for new and emerging media.
Strong collaboration skills.

Strong time management skills.
Salary Range: $65,000-75,000 annually
