Purpose and Objectives SAP Next Gen connects curious, ambitious, team‑oriented students and early talent to SAP’s global community of innovators, peers, and leaders. With hands‑on experiences that sharpen skills and mentorship from leaders shaping the future, knowledge becomes impact. SAP Next Gen supports three distinct groups through tailored programs: Students, Recent Graduates, and Entry‑Level Job seekers.

The SAP Next Gen Academy for Product Management targets graduates with 2–3 years of professional experience. This 18‑month rotational program develops deep expertise in Product Management and equips Associates with the skills, knowledge, and experience required to deliver impactful SAP products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, preparation, and execution of SAP’s state‑of‑the‑art global Academy for Product Management.

Partner with Talent Discovery and business stakeholders to attract, hire, and onboard top early‑career talent.

Design and deliver engaging, high‑impact learning experiences, both virtually and in person, to accelerate skill development and readiness for future roles within the Product Management organization.

Support Regional Program Managers and First‑Line Leaders to develop, coach, evaluate, and performance‑manage approximately 40 Early Talents per year, ensuring continuous growth and strong program outcomes.

Collaborate with regional and global business stakeholders across SAP’s Product & Engineering organization to ensure program relevance and alignment with business priorities.

Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, analytics, and iteration of content and delivery methods.

Optimize scheduling, analytics, and tools for seamless program delivery and reporting.

Skills & Competencies

Product Management expertise or strong, in‑depth understanding of Product Management roles and priorities.

Industry and technical acumen, including AI‑driven product innovation and core Product Management disciplines critical to the Harmonized Product Operating Model.

Demonstrated ability to design, plan, and execute enablement programs with measurable business and learning outcomes.

Passion for developing early‑career professionals.

Leadership in a matrixed environment and ability to influence across complex, global structures.

Strong stakeholder influence and trust‑building with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.

Coaching and feedback skills, facilitating skill development with actionable, growth‑oriented feedback.

Continuous improvement mindset, receptive to data insights and performance metrics.

Cultural agility, global awareness, and respect for diverse audiences.

Excellent communication, empathy, influence, and negotiation skills.

Fluency in English required.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or a comparable role.

Prior people‑management experience preferred.

Prior experience designing and implementing talent development programs, preferably for Product Managers.

Education & Qualifications

University degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Design, or Human‑Computer Interaction.

Compensation Range Transparency: The targeted combined range for this position is US $142,500 - $327,100 annually. The actual amount offered will be within that range and dependent on qualifications, experience, and location.
