We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesia Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the seamless delivery of patient care. If you have a passion for precision, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to play a crucial role in the operating room, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Set up/troubleshoot anesthesia machines, monitors, suction devices, and airway management tools.

Stock supplies.

Help draw up, label, and organize medications.

Prepare the room, ensuring the operating room is set up for specific needs.

Clean, disinfect, and restock anesthesia equipment between cases.

Run safety checks to ensure equipment is ready for the next procedure.

Track and reorder anesthesia supplies.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology (A.A.S. degree) preferred and certification as an Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T) through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) preferred.

Previous experience as a CNA, EMT, or Emergency Room Technician (critical care/trauma environments strongly preferred) is a great background that allows on‑the‑job training.

CPR certification obtained within three months of hire – Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross required.

Ability to understand and identify medical equipment problems and apply technical knowledge in set‑up and calibration of medical equipment.

Analytical skills to identify problems, troubleshoot, and find efficient solutions.

Interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of professional and technical personnel.

Must be able to walk, stand for long periods (over 80% of the assigned work period), and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Hours & Schedule 2:00 pm – 11:30 pm. Must adhere to weekday, weekend, and holiday on‑call rotation with a 30‑minute response time.

Certifications/Licenses

BLS‑Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider – American Heart Association / American Red Cross / National Safety Council.
