Payroll Specialist

and play a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll processing across multiple legal entities. Responsibilities

Administer end‑to‑end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Generate and distribute payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, taxes and other reports as required by leadership and regulatory authorities. Serve as key point of contact for payroll inquiries, resolving issues promptly. Prepare and submit payroll tax filings (quarterly and annual returns) and manage timely payment of payroll taxes. Maintain accurate payroll records, employee information, time and attendance data. Collaborate with HR to onboard new employees and assign time clocks in the UKG system. Assist with internal and external payroll audits. Support registration of Fay’s business in new states for withholding and unemployment taxes. Process verifications of employment and ensure timeliness. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and keep up to date with payroll law changes. Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business objectives and maintain relationships across the organization. Model Fay’s values, operating principles, ethical standards, professionalism and code of conduct. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience combined with a High School diploma/GED. 3‑5 years of payroll processing experience for a multi‑state organization. In‑depth knowledge of payroll principles, tax laws, practices and procedures. Familiarity with payroll software systems; experience with UKG highly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style. High learning agility, analytical skills and strong problem‑solving abilities. Strong attention to detail, compliance orientation and quality of work product. Effective time management and prioritization skills. Professional maturity, integrity and ability to maintain confidential data. Strong business acumen and technical aptitude. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
