We’re seeking a strategic thinker who will be a vital contributor to the Sourcing Strategy & Insights team, supporting the Price Strategy Director in analyzing and optimizing supplier contract pricing strategies. The role will assist with the implementation and ongoing management of a new SS&P Price Strategy Platform, driving data analysis and providing insights to support category teams in improving price performance and negotiation outcomes.
This is an onsite role based at the GP Center in downtown Atlanta, GA. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What You’ll Do
Support the launch of the SS&P Price Strategy Platform by collaborating with cross‑functional teams to embed best practices, refine functionality, and integrate with existing workflows.
Facilitate day‑to‑day operation and ongoing enhancements of the platform by maintaining price strategy documentation and working with IT to deploy updates, resolve issues, and advance capabilities, including exploring AI technologies.
Partner with category teams during RFPs and negotiation events by preparing data‑driven insights and supporting analysis of pricing scenarios.
Assist in developing knowledge processes that benchmark pricing against market trends and should‑cost models; develop tools that enable timely detection and resolution of deviations from contract pricing terms.
Monitor contract price performance and prepare reports that highlight key findings and emerging pricing opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
1‑3 years of experience in pricing analysis, finance, data analytics, engineering, or a related function—preferably within a manufacturing or sourcing environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets and generate actionable insights.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 5 %.
Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting pricing initiatives and/or supplier negotiations.
Experience working within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement organizations.
Familiarity with contract pricing mechanisms and sourcing category management.
