Job Summary
As IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the bank’s IT infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and security. This includes managing cloud-based services, securing financial data, supporting internal users, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations (e.g., GLBA, PCI‑DSS). You’ll play a key role in safeguarding the bank’s network and systems while providing reliable IT solutions that support daily banking operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Power BI, ensuring they meet the bank’s needs.
Administer user accounts, manage licenses, and implement security policies and permissions across Microsoft 365 applications.
Participate in the evaluation of technologies and vendors used to ensure they meet industry standards for quality and performance.
Monitor and support ancillary bank systems and alert management of any performance or security issues.
Enhance security protocols across the bank’s IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with financial industry regulations (GLBA, CRI).
Manage endpoint security tools, including XDR and SIEM software and firewall configurations, to protect systems from threats.
Develop, implement, and enforce security measures such as encryption, MFA, VPN, and secure remote access to safeguard sensitive customer data and banking systems.
Participate in regulatory audits, vulnerability scans, and security updates to identify and address potential threats.
Assist with support of on‑premises and cloud‑based servers, ensuring systems are optimized for performance and security.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot end‑user hardware and software.
Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding of employees, including setting up new accounts, permissions, and access to necessary systems.
Assist staff with training and guidance on best practices for IT security and utilization of Microsoft 365 tools.
Participate in project initiatives with the department and organization.
Document configurations and security settings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
