Job Summary The NOC Systems Analyst is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Lifepoint Health's enterprise network systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. This is a full‑time onsite position located in Brentwood, TN, requiring daily physical presence to support critical infrastructure, collaborate with IT teams, and respond to network incidents in real time. Key responsibilities include using network monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues, performing routine maintenance and updates, configuring hardware, and ensuring business continuity through proactive support.

Job Requirements

Location Requirement: This role is 100% onsite at the Brentwood, TN office. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Technical proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP), monitoring tools, and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).

Experience with network troubleshooting and security best practices.

Preferred certifications: CCNA or CompTIA Network+.

Strong communication skills to assist end users and guide them through troubleshooting steps.

Minimum Education

Associate degree in computer networking or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑uptime environment.

Experience with enterprise‑level network systems and Windows desktop/server platforms.

Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, HP Service Manager, Cherwell).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, OneNote).

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Microsoft SCOM, Tivoli, SolarWinds Orion, LogicMonitor).

Understanding of broadband/fiber circuits, DHCP services, LANs, and Microsoft server operating systems.

Working knowledge of Cisco devices; Fortinet experience preferred.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to provide remote support using virtual desktop tools.

Essential Functions

Monitor LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backups, and core applications.

Respond to incidents, outages, and performance alerts; elevate as needed.

Troubleshoot remote site outages and coordinate with ISPs and network engineers.

Coordinate equipment replacement and configuration with remote site personnel.

Schedule and manage third‑party vendor dispatches for onsite support.

Document all troubleshooting and resolution steps in ticketing systems.

Manage physical access to the Brentwood Data Center and support vendor visits.

Administer corporate printers and print queues, including DHCP and DNS configurations.

Perform basic server management tasks via VMware or RDP.

Support high uptime 24×7 operational environments; shift flexibility required.

Coordinate network cutovers and upgrades to minimize service disruptions.

Collaborate with other IS departments to improve network functionality.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with IT departments and vendors to optimize network performance.

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures.

Provide technical support to internal users and teams for network‑related issues.

Serve as a key contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution.
