Job Description Summary The Wind Global EHS Training Strategy and Deployment Lead is responsible for the EHS training and learning strategy program deliverables across the One Wind organization (Projects, Services, Fixed Facility, and Offices/Engineering). The role will focus on the integrity and effectiveness of the GE Vernova Wind EHS training programs and processes, policies, and procedures, including alignment with the Global Wind and GE Vernova EHS training requirements. Additionally, the role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage Wind EHS training matrices, facilitate the Wind training councils by region, and provide input into EHS content for both digital and classroom training including train‑the‑trainer support. The role will report to the Wind Global Operations and Center of Excellence EHS Leader and will be responsible for driving excellence across the organization regarding developing consistent and standard EHS training programs and expectations. This position will partner cross‑functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of EHS training programs are actively utilized to drive sustainable improvement. It includes integrating new technologies such as VR and other immersive digital training programs, supporting the management and updates of EHS content into digital training systems (e.g., DCP, SGS, GE University), interfacing with training resources within the Wind business, and providing training and coaching to One Wind personnel on EHS training programs and requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop EHS learning strategy and deployment across One Wind.
Lead the EHS training program and digital tool utilization such as GE Learning / Gensuite DCP globally, coordinating cross‑functionally to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
Apply learning principles in the development of new EHS courseware.
Drive innovation and excellence with the development and incorporation of new learning technologies.
Manage and deliver leadership training and “train‑the‑trainer” sessions in various formats.
Coach and mentor regional EHS teams to build and deliver a robust EHS training program.
Develop regional expertise on managing Learning System and Classroom Sessions according to GEV Corporate expectations.
Remain current with EHS regulations and GEV EHS programs specific to assigned priorities.
Qualify and maintain approved EHS instructors per topic area across One Wind.
Partner with One Wind team to ensure appropriate technical and regulatory competency for EHS and operational team members.
Lead the strategy to manage employee and contractor records, including training documentation.
Support GE Vernova EHS business operation system (Framework).
Support key deliverables and KPIs for EHS training program effectiveness.
Proactively partner and develop positive working relationships with cross‑functional personnel.
Qualifications / Requirements
5–7+ years experience with EHS training and strategy programs.
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
Certified Environmental or Health and Safety professional.
Prior experience in Wind or energy industry fields.
Significant EHS training experience in a project/service or fixed facility environment.
Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards.
Knowledge of EHS management systems.
Fluent English with strong communication skills.
Desired Characteristics
Experience across GE Vernova businesses.
Experience with VR training environments.
Experience in adult learning and teaching principles.
Strong working knowledge of GEV digital training management systems.
Knowledge of EHS core programs and requirements.
Ability to coach and support key influencers to drive compliance.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change.
Confident to facilitate and deliver training to diverse audiences.
Self‑starter with high energy.
Additional EHS expertise such as Occupational Safety or Sustainability.
Trained to GWO basic safety standard.
Additional language skills.
Eligibility Requirements
Ability to travel 25–30% of the time.
Remote and/or located in Madrid, Spain; Schenectady, NY; or Greenville, SC.
Sponsorship not supported.
Compensation US salary range: $129,000 – $214,900 annually, plus 10% variable incentive. Position closes no earlier than November 7, 2025.
