Position Specific Description Employees in this position oversee the completion of tasks associated with readiness for operations for new solar and battery projects. They manage a portfolio of projects across Florida, ensuring transition processes from pre‑construction to operations are completed timely and efficiently. The role requires living near a major airport to support a 50% travel schedule and involves QA/QC program oversight, engineering program oversight, and information system process oversight, among others.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in renewable or power generation technologies, from construction through operations. Solar experience is desired but not required.

Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent.

Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and complete large‑, medium‑, and small‑scale complex projects.

Manage day‑to‑day transition processes to ensure timely and efficient completion.

Work with vendors and support teams to ensure timely supply of spare parts.

Ensure compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements.

Manage multiple projects concurrently; safely deliver results on schedule and under budget.

Apply strong prioritization skills with a focus on safety and quality.

Adapt quickly to changing priorities and locations while maintaining safety and quality at the top of mind.

Job Overview Plan, monitor, and manage large‑scale internal projects from initiation through completion, providing direction to project team members.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee a variety of large‑scale projects of high complexity.

Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.

Conduct project meetings and track progress.

Identify issues and challenges, measure and validate results, and implement solutions.

Provide expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues.

Create and communicate presentation materials for report‑out and updates with stakeholders.

Conduct external research and stay abreast of new developments in the project domain.

Provide coaching, leadership, and direction to the project team.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Graduate / GED.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 6+ years of project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications (continued)

Master's Degree.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
