As a manager you will motivate, develop, and inspire others, coach team members, manage performance, and lead with integrity. You will use technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encourage others to do the same. Key Skills
Analyse and identify linkages between system components. Own projects – planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. Partner with leadership to ensure quality, timelines, and deliverables. Develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same. Mentor others effectively. Use work reviews to deepen team expertise. Address conflicts, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and stakeholders, escalating appropriately. Uphold professional and technical standards (e.g., PwC tax and audit guidance), firm code of conduct, independence requirements. Opportunity
As part of the Partnership Tax‑Domestic Tax team you will coordinate federal, state, and local tax return preparation, supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive tax engagement workstreams by solving complex problems and delivering high‑quality deliverables. You will also manage ongoing tax audits and prioritise multiple filing requirements. Responsibilities
Coordinate preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns. Manage ongoing tax audits. Prioritise multiple tax filing requirements. Supervise, develop, and coach teams. Manage client service accounts and engagement workstreams. Solve complex tax‑related problems to deliver quality results. Maintain compliance with tax regulations and firm standards. Utilise technology to enhance tax processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree. 4 years of tax or PwC experience. What Sets You Apart
Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred). CPA certification (preferred). Federal, state, and local tax return preparation. Deep understanding of tax code and regulations. Experience in tax compliance. Expertise in partnership and domestic income tax. Automation and digitisation in a professional services environment. Coordination of federal, state, and local tax return preparation. Managing ongoing tax audits. Benefits & Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $73,500 – $244,000, plus potential annual discretionary bonus. For Maryland‑based roles, this is the listed range. PwC offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
