Client Advisory & Communication Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on tax‑related matters. Communicate proactively with clients to gather necessary information and address questions. Review financial statements and tax documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Educate clients on tax‑saving opportunities and best practices. Tax Preparation & Compliance Prepare and review individual, business (S‑Corp, C‑Corp, Partnership), and trust tax returns. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Identify and apply relevant tax deductions, credits, and strategies to minimize liabilities. Assist with tax projections and estimated tax payments. Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay updated on changing tax laws. Internal Growth Advocate Work closely with CPAs, senior accountants, and other team members to streamline tax workflows. Assist with tax planning initiatives and strategies for business owners. Support the firm during tax season by managing multiple deadlines efficiently. Utilize tax software and other accounting tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Mentor and coach junior staff, providing guidance on tax preparation, compliance, and client service. Review work prepared by junior team members, offering constructive feedback and support. Assist in training new hires on tax software, firm processes, and best practices. Foster a collaborative learning environment that encourages growth and development. Additional Assist with IRS and state tax notices, audits, and client correspondence as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with professional standards. Contribute to process improvements and best practices to enhance client service. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). CPA or CPA‑eligible (highly preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in a CPA firm, with a proven record of client retention and satisfaction. Strong tenure within previous roles or firms is highly valued. Proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax, ProSystem Fx Tax, CCH Axcess Engagement, ProSystem Fx Engagement preferred. Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) preferred. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure professional and clear interactions with clients and team members. Proven ability to build lasting, positive client relationships through exceptional service and thoughtful guidance. A keen eye for detail, with a deep commitment to accuracy, ensuring precision in every task. Passion for tax codes, problem‑solving, and staying up to date with industry changes. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, to ensure smooth scheduling and communication across the team. Equal Employment Opportunity Clause
