Safety Manager - Fort Worth, TX

Sheakley Location: Ft. Worth, TX (Main Office) | San Antonio, TX (Secondary Office) Start Date: ASAP (within 30 days) Type: Full-Time (W2), Direct Hire Position Details
Salary: $120,000 annually
Relocation/Sign-On Bonus: Available (must be a Texas resident; relocation support anywhere in-state provided)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-50 hours/week (first shift)

Project Scope The Construction Safety Manager will oversee 10-15 active projects and provide safety leadership to 105 internal employees as well as subcontractor teams across a wide range of commercial builds valued between $10M and $100M. Projects are based between Ft. Worth and San Antonio, TX.
This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with experience engaging OSHA inspectors, managing compliance documentation, and building a strong, sustainable safety culture throughout all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
OSHA 500, First Aid/CPR & AED certification required
Minimum 3 years of safety management experience in construction
Experience teaching or conducting OSHA 30 classes
CHSO preferred
Strong knowledge of OSHA reporting, including OSHA 300 logs
Direct experience with OSHA inspections (major plus)
ProCore experience strongly preferred
Must be tech-savvy, self-motivated, and innovative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate safety operations across 10-15 concurrent construction projects
Conduct daily site visits to ensure safety compliance and workforce engagement
Develop, implement, and evaluate company and project-specific safety plans
Lead the internal Safety Committee (meets twice annually)
Serve as primary contact for OSHA inspections and compliance reviews
Manage subcontractor safety performance and internal safety processes
Maintain OSHA 300 logs and required regulatory documentation
Champion continuous improvement and drive a culture of safety excellence
Skills & Knowledge
Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities
Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking capabilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Knowledge
Deep understanding of EHS standards and OSHA regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction safety platforms (ProCore preferred)
Skilled in communicating and enforcing safety policies effectively
