Responsibilities
Lead R&D efforts in materials and interfaces, focusing on innovative solutions for inkjet printing of ophthalmic lenses.
Analyze, test, and characterize materials to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to integrate new materials into existing processes.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred).
Proven experience in materials research, development, and testing.
Experience in chemical lab or cleanroom environments and with experimental/metrology tools.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred
Polymer material/formulation development for optical coatings.
3D printing experience.
Material and optical characterization tools.
