Job Summary The successful candidate will apply strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills to develop specialized nonwoven processes and products. Specific experience working with roll‑to‑roll web processing, fiber processing, and compounding is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and a desire to excel in a team‑based environment are critical to success.

Responsibilities

Configuring, operating, and maintaining nonwoven process equipment

Measuring the properties of and characterizing nonwoven materials

Maintaining detailed record keeping and communication of technical work and results

Following and developing standard operating procedures

Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Material handling, including lifting pails, moving pallets, and completing other duties as assigned

Requirements

One (1) year of technician experience in a private, public, government or military environment

One (1) year of experience on manufacturing equipment or in a trades role

Preferences

Associate’s degree or two‑year technical program certificate or higher in mechanical, electrical, materials, electrical, or process engineering or a similar field

Two (2) or more years of experience in nonwoven or fiber processing, web processing, or roll‑to‑roll processing

Two (2) or more years of experience in process or product development using 5S, Six Sigma, SPC or similar methodologies

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability and desire to excel in a highly interdisciplinary, team‑oriented work environment
