Job Title CoBank is seeking a
Tech Services Engineer
to join our highly collaborative Technical Services team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in problem‑solving, enjoys working closely with others, and is passionate about leveraging automation and cloud solutions to drive efficiency. You will play a key role in supporting end‑user computing, optimizing performance, and contributing to enterprise‑level technology initiatives — including Windows 11 refreshes and ongoing modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve complex end‑user computing issues in a timely and professional manner.
Manage ticket fulfillment and resolution processes through frontline support and tech services queues.
Implement automation solutions to improve process efficiency and consistency.
Monitor and optimize end‑user computing performance.
Lead incident response efforts for end‑user computing issues.
Manage IAM tasks, including role‑based access control and user provisioning.
Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
Support platform integrations and automations across cloud environments.
Contribute to ongoing refresh and transformation projects, including Windows 11 migrations.
Must Haves
3–4 years of experience in end‑user computing or technical support.
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and cloud‑based technologies.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS environments.
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell or Bash) to build or maintain automation processes.
Experience supporting remote users using various remote tools.
Understanding of IAM principles and practices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Proven reliability and consistency in previous roles (no short‑term or "jumping" contracts).
Nice to Haves
Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS).
Basic understanding of AWS and integration concepts.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals.
Experience with automation and DevOps tools.
