Your Responsibilities

Evaluate costs and identify variances or opportunities to improve profitability.

Track budgets and report variances. Monitor and analyze data using established finance systems and protocols.

Develop personal capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education.

Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization’s policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards.

Assist with the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.

Support the implementation of financial systems process changes and enhancements.

Produce accurate reports by collecting and analyzing data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.

What Skills You Need

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Minimum of 6 credit hours in accounting.

Knowledge of accounting systems, process and practices.

Ability to gather and analyze data.

Willing to travel and relocate to any John Deere location in the US.

Must be willing to relocate domestically. Assignments can be various locations throughout the US.

Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Graduating with bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics or related degrees.
