Intellect , a leading mental health platform dedicated to making quality care more accessible around the world. As a practitioner on our telehealth platform, you’ll have the opportunity to
empower individuals on their mental health and personal growth journeys
— providing meaningful, one-on-one support through
60-minute video sessions
tailored to each client’s unique goals and needs. This is a
freelance, fully remote role
that offers you the
flexibility to choose your own schedule
— making it a great way to complement your current job or private practice while joining a collaborative, mission-driven global community. Responsibilities
Provide
1-on-1 telehealth or occasional onsite mental health support
for Intellect’s clients. Work with a wide range of clinical cases such as
depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and addiction . Collaborate closely
with Intellect’s internal clinical team to continuously improve our programs and platform. Qualifications
PhD or PsyD A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience and 500 supervised clinical hours (excluding internships and academic placements) Expertise in Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for trauma survivors Somatic Experiencing (SE) Licensure: Must hold valid and active licenses applicable to Washington DC Supervision: One supervision session every 2 months Preferred Background: Prior experience with EAP and/or adult counseling Flexibility: Openness to occasional onsite work, if necessary Applicants must already hold a valid visa or legal right to work in the country of hiring, as Intellect does not provide visa sponsorship at this time If you’re passionate about mental health and eager to make a difference while working flexibly and globally — we’d love to hear from you.
