This is an experienced-based salaried Senior Structural Engineer role. Oversee the creation of 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks based on customer-provided design inputs and internal conceptual designs while adhering to company standards. Typical products include steel platforms, stairs, towers, foundations, skids, tanks, and drag chains for customers across industries such as Telecommunications, Transportation, Wastewater, and Oil & Gas. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in structural steel design, be fluent in SolidWorks, and hold a Texas PE license. Familiarity with AISC, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and ASSHTO standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

Advanced knowledge of engineering technology, codes, and standards in the USA.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.

Coordinate with the client, consultants, project team, disciplinary engineering departments, vendors, and subcontractors.

Develop and monitor detailed project scope and schedule.

Prepare basic engineering requirements and design data.

Review and interpret design requirements and incorporate them into detailed design.

Coordinate scheduling of engineering activities to issue drawings, specifications, and purchase orders, ensuring receipt of information from the client, process licensors, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet the overall engineering and construction schedule.

Coordinate engineering work done by the joint venture's structural group to include vendors and clients.

Possess detailed knowledge and experience of the full project lifecycle.

Manage the design staff of four.

Software experience in: RISA 3D, SolidWorks Simulation, tnxTower, Helicap, Lpile, and Mathcad.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

More than 5 years of detailed structural design engineering experience.

Well‑versed in SolidWorks (priority).

P.E. license in any state (Preferred)

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and knowledge.
